Team Building

So, you've been given the task of sponsoring the next team-building event, and you'd like to make a change.  You'd like to make it useful, memorable, and fun.  Yes -- FUN!  You'd like to make something that at the end of the day everyone was saying "WOW! What An Event!  I've never done  anything like that!"

You think back to events you've  gone to, and if you're being honest... much of the time it included things like pizza or potluck, making small talk, looking at the clock, trying to figure out how long you had to stick around before the boss thought it was "OK" to leave, and finally getting the opportunity to go home, or get back to work.

An escape room challenge is different... WAY DIFFERENT!  You put a team of people in the escape room, and they are tasked with breaking out in a given amount of time. They are given an overview of the rules, (assured that the room isn't really locked!) and then told a back story with clues. That’s what starts it all .  From there, participants use their own memory, ingenuity and teamwork to solve puzzles, get MORE clues, open locks, complete riddles, you name it…all with the goal of solving the last puzzle and "breaking out" of the escape room.  The action will be monitored the entire time and if the group runs into a roadblock along the way, we will be there to provide a timely clue.  After all -- the point is to have fun as a team!

You want to make it competitive with another team? ... see which team can escape quicker.    After a couple of sessions, you will be amazed at what people come away with, and what new friends and contacts have been established.

What is required to break out of the escape room before your time runs out?

Analytical skills, lots of communication, collaboration, leadership, task analysis, team work, and... oh yeah -- FUN!  Having fun is required!

Team members will be surprised at what they learn about their own communication and problem-solving styles and those of their co-workers, all while having a good time. New connections, tools, and bonds will be created that can be taken back into the workplace,

--AND THAT’S A WIN FOR EVERYONE!
