F A Q

Q: What is an escape room?

A: Escape rooms are an immersive, live-action adventure game in which the goal is to escape a "locked" room by solving the mystery using your wits, team, and clues hidden throughout the room.  They are designed to challenge your brain and encourage team communication, and are not physically demanding or scary, making it an activity for all ages.

Q: Are they scary or gory?

A: No!  At least ours is not.  Our theme is not threatening or frightening.  Some escape rooms (again, not ours) can have elements of horror so it's always best to ask if you have concerns.

Q.  Am I really going to be "locked" in a room?

A. No. The door will not be locked, but is considered an emergency exit only.  If you leave the room before you solve the room you have exited gameplay and cannot re-enter.

Q.  How many people are locked in each room?

A. Minimum of three players is required for our room. However a max of six people is better.  The room is fairly large so you'll have plenty of space to move.

Q.  Can I book my group ahead of time?

A. Yes. We allow bookings 6 months in advance at anytime. Contact us for advanced booking availability.

Q.  Can I purchase just one ticket?

A. Yes. You can join a current booking if you see there are openings or we will pair you with other people to fill a room of three minimum.

Q.  Will my escape room session be with strangers?

A. Yes, unless you find other friends that are brave enough to join you. A lot of groups have enjoyed the experience not knowing members of their group and quickly become friends, not foes.   If you prefer your group (4 or more) not be joined by strangers, you can always book a private experience.

Q.  What exactly do we need to do to escape the room?

A. Your team and your smarts!  All the clues you need are within the room so you and your team must rely on each to find the clues and solve the riddles and puzzles.

Q.  Do I have to be 18 to play?

A. We require a waiver to play.  All minors must be signed for by a parent or guardian.  Players 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult while in the room.
